My work, in this show, is centred on memory and to some extent loss and the inability to keep a memory from being tainted and to keep a memory intact. Where loss is concerned, my work looks at a particular object which reminds you of someone, and that the same object can become the focus for the memory and also the loss of a loved one.

‘The Object’ is a reminder of the person but is also something left behind from the person after their final departure, and which you cannot follow.

‘The Chased Memory’. In trying to remember someone or some event, there is often something within the memory which is chased and one cannot quite capture the whole memory.

‘Disintegrating memory’. Over time, a memory becomes even harder to keep, it slowly dissolves as you experience other events which make it harder and harder to keep a memory.
